Message	because if the vin on the pillar doesnt match the one on the firewall, then your car had a quarter/piller put in it. I work at a body shop, and when we have to do that using a used part, we will usually cut out the old vin plate and give it to the customer for their reference, however a new company just started offering replacement VIN plates for $30.
